Abbaye de Fontfroide

At the heart of this Valley of Paradise , surrounded by the hills covered in pine forest and vineyards, set back from the bustle of the coast, Villesèque is a wine-growers' village of 350 inhabitants on the route of vineyards, Cathar castles and medieval abbeys.

The village was built around the parish church dedicated to Saint André which still has its roman pillars and capitals.
